Korea Semester Abroad 7: The Jinju Light Festival

Then today was another "Substitute Holiday". I took advantage of this together with a larger group of internationals and my buddy Lim together with a trip organized by him to the Jinju Festival of Lights (yes again a festival): 24 exchange students and Lim as a tour guide.

For this we rented a bus for round trip of 1:30h each - for only about 16€.

The festival was really beautifully done and from 15 to 23 o'clock the whole city and its river was decorated with lanterns and illuminated figures.

In addition, I have then contributed together with 3-4 internationals to the popular amusement by borrowing traditional Korean Hanboks (한복) and carried them through the festival.

After that, however, it was time for the midterm exams and the university was now back in the foreground for the next few weeks.
