Korea Semester Abroad 17: Suwon, Seoul & Return home

26.08.2022 - 09.01.2023

Slippery ice in Seoul's Bukhansan Park

08.01.2023 – Sunday

Today we visited Bukhansan Park in Seoul - which, incidentally, is listed in the Guinness World Record as the park with the most visitors per cm². We slide along it in double-digit minus temperatures.

I also pay another visit to the doctor I know to have the last remaining stitches pulled (many have already gone by themselves).

Spa & Goodbye

09.01.2023 – Monday

Today was our last day in Korea ㅠㅠ. We rounded it off with a visit to a Korean sauna, a 찜질방 ("Jjimjilbang") and a KBBQ afterwards.

Now it's time to pack up and tomorrow at 12:20 local time we're off to Japan for another 2 weeks.

In theory, that says it all, but it's far from it. I haven't even come to terms with everything that has happened in the last few months and would have liked to have done one or two more things. But time flies and everything comes to an end. So I've traveled enough for now and am looking forward to home, good bread & cheese and the old familiar chaos.

I tried to summarize Korea's impressions and experiences in the finale.

And then there was also Japan!
