30.12.2022 – Friday
We leave Daegu for Busan for the penultimate time (Min Seok still has our luggage) so that Jonathan can also see the beautiful beach town. In the afternoon, we are at the well-known "Kimchi Hostel" and take a look at Haeundae Beach and the cool mile.
31.12.2022 – Saturday
We get up in the morning and go on a hike to Geumjeongsanseong Palace & Fortress: city walls and temples in the middle of the forest across the whole mountain. Very impressive.
The year of the rabbit begins
In the evening, we attend a drone show at Gwanggali Beach to ring in the New Year. Afterwards, we continue the party with 리리, a Korean friend from Busan and her girlfriend. We end up in the now famous "Thursday Party" bar, another bar and finally in a karaoke bar. We leave at 7 a.m. under an already risen sun at the beginning of 2023 - the year of the rabbit! A solid start!
Food-Trips in Busan
01.01.2023 – Sunday
Hey, I was awake until about 8 o'clock to start the new year. Nothing happens here today, read on.
02.01.2023 – Monday
We visit the "BEXCO Spa land", which is unfortunately still under construction and nothing is happening yet. But we were able to eat a delicious "UFO burger" there. In the evening, we go back to Heundae Beach to watch the BUSAN EXPO 2030 light show. A very beautiful light show.
03.01.2023 – Tuesday
We go to the "Jalgachi Fish Market" outside Busan and eat traditional fish. But not only that - crab, shrimps, mussels, prawns, sashimi, ... anything that swims or used to.
Highlight of the Haeundae "sunrise"
04.01.2023 – Wednesday
We get up at around 6:30 a.m. to watch the sunrise at Heundae Beach. However, the sun rises further to the left and we only get to see a little bit of dawn. Upsii.
We also set off at lunchtime on our journey to Pohang, an east coast town with another attraction, the Spacewalk.
But we don't do it today, first we look for an apartment and move in, it was a long journey by long-distance bus.
