Japan Trip 2: Home in Hammamoto
10.01.2023 - 28.01.2023
With heavy luggage
15.01.2023 - 16.01.2023
I leave Tokyo with Samuel and Takeru and we travel by express train to "Hammamoto", Takeru's home village, while the girls visit Hiroshima in the south.
We stay here for one night and say goodbye to Takeru with a visit to a Japanese onsen in his home village and a walk through it. I say home village, by the way... the thing still has 800,000 inhabitants.
An onsen is a public bath that is fed by hot, volcanic springs, so that the bather is enveloped in delicate clouds of water vapor. These bathing worlds are usually complemented by saunas and spa-like relaxation facilities. This was also the case with us, including a restaurant.
Well rested, we say goodbye to Takeru and take the bus to our hotel in Hammamoto.
The next day, we meet up with Lena and Anna again in Osaka to continue the rest of the trip there in our group of four.
